Membership of the SNABC provides a range of events that offer excellent network opportunities as well as direct, business to business, transatlantic contacts and introductions, making us the leading transatlantic trade and investment organisation. If you represent a Scottish business or organisation with North American interests or aspirations to become one, or are a North American business with Scottish or UK interests, it makes sense to become a member.
SNABC is an active member of the BritishAmerican Business Council – the largest transatlantic business network, with 25 chapters and 3,000 member companies, including many of the world's largest multinationals, based in major business centers throughout North America and the United Kingdom.
Our members can take advantage of our participation in the BABC to extend their own business network, and connect directly with the members of all its other chapters, through their exclusive access to the BABC’s password-protected Online Membership Directory, and by participating in the events run by the BABC’s other chapters at the local member rate, and in the BABC’s Annual Transatlantic Business Conferences.
The BABC will hold its next Annual Transatlantic Business Conference in Washington D.C., from April 29-May 1, 2009. Focusing on the theme ‘Strengthening Transatlantic Links’, this Conference offers an outstanding opportunity for high-level business discussion and networking with senior executives from both sides of the Atlantic.
The BABC also offers our members access to a broad range of other services including:
The BABC works closely with both the UK and US Governments, in the promotion of our mutual interests in the promotion of transatlantic business, and of the interests of our member companies.
Andrew Fulton represents SNABC on the BABC’s Board of Directors, which elects the President and Vice President of the BABC, and designates its Executive Committee, at its meeting immediately following the BABC’s Annual Transatlantic Conference in the Spring of each year.
