Carolyn Hamilton, SVP, is Manager of Chubb Europe’s UK Regional Branches which comprises five offices, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow and Reading. A $300 million premium operation, Carolyn is accountable for all aspects of running a region which extends across the whole of the UK with the exception of London.
Carolyn has worked in the UK insurance market for over 25 years, joining General Accident as a graduate trainee from Edinburgh University. A Chartered Insurer, she joined Chubb in 1995 as Manchester Branch Manager, then an office of 10 people and opened Chubb’s presence in Leeds in the North East of England in 1997. Scotland was added to her remit in 2000, followed by Midlands in 2001 and Reading in 2005.
Carolyn also chairs the Development Group for Chubb Europe. She lives in Scotland, is married to David and has three children.
