David was appointed Director Operations, Scottish Development International in June 2008 having previously been in the post of Director EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). He is based at Atlantic Quay, Glasgow.
David has over 20 years experience across the private and public sector. Previous positions held include Managing Director, Regional Marketing Manager and Operations Manager in multi-national companies providing products and services to a range of industrial and commercial sectors.
Born in Edinburgh in 1962, he attended Edinburgh University (BSc Mathematics), Strathclyde University (MSc Operational Research) and INSEAD Business School (MBA). Married with 2 sons and 1 daughter he and his family live in Glasgow.
