SNABC roundtable meeting, hosted by The Department for Business and Trade

Many thanks to the Department for Business and Trade for hosting our roundtable meeting last Friday morning. The Scottish North American Business Council (SNABC) planned to host an inward trade mission at the end of the year, comprised of North American stakeholders in the film and TV industry. The focus of the mission was to connect these North American stakeholders with Scottish screen companies, with a view to expanding their commercial ties and producing, in partnership, more Scotland-originated content for international and North American audiences.

We were delighted to have the support of the Scottish Government via the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and looked forward to further discussions with Screen Scotland and other partners who attended our meeting, both in person and virtually, including Lorraine Greene, Kathryn Porter, Rupert Potter, Sophia Arvanitis, Fiona Holmes, Francesca Hegyi OBE, Mark Geddes, and Stuart Hamilton. A special thanks also went to SNABC Board member Kenneth MacLeod for his hard work and enthusiasm. We looked forward to attracting key players from North America, showcasing Scottish talent, and building relationships.
